Hilary Casey: Skis and Rackets

Title

Hilary Casey: Skis and Rackets

Subject

Hilary Casey

Description

Hilary Casey 'hated sport' as a young girl growing up in Hythe; it was a sentiment she quickly left behind. We spoke to Hilary about her love of skiing and her involvement at the newly opened Folkestone Sports Centre in the 1970s. She also describes joining Hythe Lawn Tennis Club in 1982, where she instantly became a lynchpin (and chair between 2010 and 2015), overseeing an expanded membership and a raft of improvements.
