Description
The establishment of Folkestone Sports Centre in the early 1970s opened up a world of hitherto unimaginable sporting opportunities for residents of the town. For Sandra Hibbert, who has always lived and worked in the Folkestone area, the centre facilitated her love of badminton - a sport she continues to play to this day - and became a valuable social mainstay.
